We currently represent over 125 members from the leading nonprofit charities, foundations, and consultants across the state. Our Mission:
The AFP New Mexico Chapter, an association of professionals, advances philanthropy by empowering people and organizations to practice ethical and effective fundraising. The core activities through which the chapter fulfills this mission include education and training, promoting credentialing, providing resources, networking, forging alliances, mentoring, advocacy and recognition.

There are many levels of membership in AFP-NM, including one to fit you. If you work at a small organization, membership is only $150.00 per year, while young professionals under thirty can join for just $75.00. Learn more about AFP membership categories here.

Dec 6 - Specialist - Bike MS/Walk MS
The Specialist is responsible for fundraising activation, retention, cultivation and stewardship of participants, teams and top fundraisers for the purpose of meaningful engagement with the Society and to maximize revenue growth. This position is responsible for relationship building and revenue growth through active management of a participant portfolio of $360,000-$400,000 that includes top fundraisers, team captains, general participants, sponsors and volunteers. Nov 22 - Executive Development Director
The RPC seeks an energetic, community-oriented, nonprofit leader to serve as Executive Development Director to provide vision and leadership while creating a climate of community investment. The EDD is responsible for planning and implementing strategies to maximize support for the Railyard Park from businesses, individuals and foundations. The EDD works collaboratively with our program coordinator, several contractors, a volunteer gardening force, and many other conservation volunteers and youth groups. With the Railyard Park Conservancy Board and community partners, the EDD raises funds to carry out educational programs, horticultural directives and capital enhancements to park. This position is often fast-paced, requiring multitasking in the park and in the office. A single day may include meeting with Railyard Art Committee, touring the garden with visiting conservation groups, lunch with donors or city officials, planning strategic fundraising campaigns and adding content to our social media presence.
