Meet fiscal year fundraising goals for PPRM. Assist in development and implementation of strategic and operational plans to achieve short and long term development goals.
Manage a portfolio of approximately 50 major donors spending 50% of time on the highest level donors, 35% on mid-level major donors and 15% of time on emergent major donors.
Participate in face-to-face solicitations with current and potential major donors by scheduling visits with CEO, Chief Philanthropy Officer of Development, Vice President of Development, and/or Director of Development and Organizational Giving and key volunteers.
Conduct prospect research to broaden base of potential supporters and coordinate with development staff in the cultivation, identification and upgrade of donors.
Assist in planning for the cultivation and solicitation of a targeted group of donors making gifts of $1,000-$4,999 for restricted and annual gifts.
Work with volunteer leadership to help identify prospects. Determine their readiness to give and their primary interest in our organization through a series of cultivation activities. Support the team environment with ideas and skills as required by team direction including but not limited to editing/proofing and writing of other written materials as appropriate.
Support agency-wide objectives through, but not limited to attending, PPRM, PPVNM and external events and by participating on task forces and committees.
Develop and implement annual and long term strategies for special events including stewardship events and revenue generating events in New Mexico with the purpose of diversifying PPRM's donor base and ultimately strengthening the organization's financial base.
Coordinate activities with development volunteers, and act as liaison between committee volunteers and other staff.
Conduct evaluation and analysis processes to measure the success and efficacy of both fundraising and stewardship events.
Identify, cultivate and solicit individuals through special events for major gifts. Increase portfolio of donors/prospects annually to meet targeted numbers.
Participates in abortion services (participation can include referrals, information, education, counseling, performing, scheduling, etc.)
