Administrative Assistant for Advancement Office

Minimum qualifactions include:  excellent computer skills, writing, proof reading, data entry, ability to relate to the publc and intereact with various groups, and working with events.  Must be proficient in Microsoft (Word, Excel, Publisher), Google Suite, managing an office, working in fund raising, writing and website content.   Specific duties:  Supports the Director in all aspects including logistics, correspondence and mailings for Advancement and Alumni events.  Serves as the department receptionist, handling all incoming calls and visitors to the office, including receive, open,sort and distribute mail.  Oversees the inventoryof all office supplies and orders as needed.  Performs data entry as needed for event participants, volunteers and donors. Responsible for organizing adn overseeing of the department workroom. Provides administrative support to the Alumni Relations Program and Alumni Council.  Provides administrative support to Annual Campaigns and the Capital Campaign as needed.  Uses Raiser's Edge to maintain the consitutuent database necessary for efficient operation and reporting of events and Annual Fund.  Handles all mail merges for the office to include creating queries, printing and stuffing envelopes. Responds to and/or directs inquiries appropriately and accurately (required knowledge of all aspects of the office as well as the campus). All other responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Advancement.
