St. Martin's Hope Works seeks an experienced professional to join its team as a government grants writer. The individual selected will identify and develop funding sources to support existing and planned program activities and campaigns as well as conduct the development, writing, and submission of grant proposals to government entities. The position is responsible for submitting timely, accurate, and compelling reports to funders, as required. Work is performed under direction from the Development Director. Develop and maintain good working relationships with community, county, state and federal officials.

Other Information/Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree and experience working in related discipline with a minimum of four years of experience and a proven track record in government grant writing. Candidate must have excellent written communication skills, be proficient in research, and analyzing data and possess the ability to work collaboratively and independently to achieve stated goals.
